Woman faces terrorism charge after alleged threat

NASHVILLE - A Murfreesboro woman is facing a terrorism charge after calling a local medical center and threatening to blow it up.

The Daily News Journal is reporting that Prunella Wilkerson Boynton was booked into the Rutherford County Jail after being charged with committing an act of terrorism, which is a Class A felony.

A police report says Boynton called Middle Tennessee Medical Center and threatened to have her "brother, who is a Muslim, blow up the hospital" if the "Black Catholic Church" was not allowed to take over MTMC.

The report also says that she warned that all white people needed to be removed from the hospital as well.

She remained jailed on Wednesday in lieu of $20,000 bail. She is to appear in court in June.
