Chattanooga police officers involved in Brainerd shooting currently on administrative leave with pay

The three Chattanooga police officers involved in a shooting at the Economy Inn on Saturday night are currently on administrative leave with pay, Public Information Officer Nathan Hartwig said.

The paid administrative leave for officers Kristoffer Tinney, Zachary Moody and Steven Meador is standard protocol after officer-involved shootings.

Antonio Sheffield, the 37-year-old male suspected of robbing Tiffany Nails in Brainerd fired at officers when they approached him.

Sheffield hit a fourth officer in the forehead, but that officer was not invovled in the shooting. His name has not been released.
