Pilot Flying J says Atlantic Coast, other plaintiffs were not shorted

Pilot Flying J said Friday that four plaintiffs who have sued the company in Knox County Circuit Court were not owed any rebate money.

Georgia trucking company Atlantic Coast Carriers and other plaintiffs had sued Knoxville-based Pilot in connection with allegations of fuel rebate fraud.

While Pilot has settled with several plaintiffs in federal court, the Circuit Court plaintiffs represented by Georgia attorney Mark Tate and Knoxville attorney Drew McElroy have aggressively challenged the company.
