4 nabbed in 2 North Alabama drug busts

Four people were arrested in two separate drug arrests in Jackson County, Ala., according to a sheriff's office news release.

Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen said three were charged Wednesday after county narcotics officers and Stevenson police searched a home on County Road 287. Officers recovered about 7 grams of ice methamphetamine plus prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.

Christina Lynn Vidal, 43, of Stevenson; Charlie Blevins, 33, of Ider, and Joshua Lamar Young, 27, of Stevenson, were taken to the Jackson County Jail on drug charges, the release stated.

Early Thursday, county and Stevenson officers searched a home on Nebraska Avenue in Stevenson and recovered about 1 ounce of marijuana and a set of digital scales.

Devon Marquis Allison, 26, of Stevenson, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the release stated.
