JACKSON, Tenn. - The Madison County attorney is asking a judge to oust Sheriff David Woolfork, who is accused of sexual misconduct with subordinates.

According to a complaint filed in Madison County Chancery Court on Friday, Woolfork has had sexual relationships with two of his female employees.

After one of those relationships ended, the woman accused Woolfork of coming to her house and trying to have sex with her. Earlier this month Woolfork was charged with aggravated attempted sexual battery and domestic violence assault in connection with that incident.

Woolfork is free on $20,000 bond.

He has said he does not plan to run for re-election next year but will not step down.

His attorney, Mark Donahoe, has said Woolfork has done nothing wrong, and the allegations against him are baseless.
