The driver in a Bradley County crash that took a 13-year-old's life has been indicted, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Shawn David Toll, 39, is charged with vehicular homicide in the death of Ciara Alexis Pagan and two counts of reckless endangerment, spokesman Bob Gault said in the release.

The crash happened Sept. 20 in Brian Circle. Toll was driving a Ford Mustang and lost control in a curve. The car hit a utility pole and came to rest on its top. Speed and intoxication were cited as factors in the crash.

Toll and a 14-year-old girl were injured. Another passenger, a 13-year-old girl, was not hurt.

Toll was booked into the Bradley County jail where his bond has been set at $500,000, Gault said.
