Walden's Ridge Santa Train rolling 1 day early

The Santa Train sponsored by Walden's Ridge Emergency Services will roll a day early, on Saturday rather than Sunday.

The annual event helps ensure that needy children in the community have toys for Christmas.

Amy Maxwell, spokeswoman for Hamilton County Emergency Services, said the date was reset because of expected rainy weather Sunday.

The Santa Train will leave the Walden's Ridge Emergency Services station at 2100 Taft Highway at 11 a.m. and travel throughout the service area, Maxwell said in a news release.
