Chattanooga police, Crime Stoppers seek man sought in assault of pregnant woman

Crime Stoppers is seeking information on a man wanted in connection with a domestic assault on a pregnant woman that endangered her baby's life, police said.

Robert Earl Craig, 24, is wanted on active warrants for domestic aggravated assault, viable fetus as a victim and probation violation on a previous aggravated assault charge.

Craig's last known address is 406 S. Kelley St. in Chattanooga. The African-American male is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds, police said in a news release.

Craig has been booked into jail at least four previous times this year with charges ranging from disorderly conduct and theft over more than $1,000 to aggravated assault and contempt of court.
