Two people in Dalton turned themselves in after police say they charged more than $700 to a stolen credit card.

Jacob Lee Norris, 26, and Jean Marie Jones, 33, allegedly picked up a card that someone forgot at a gas station and used it more than 20 times in late November and early December. The Dalton Police Department then released pictures from surveillance cameras on Dec. 13, and on Sunday Norris and Jones turned themselves in.

They both live at 903 Grandfield Place, according to a press release. Norris and Jones apparently turned themselves in after seeing news reports that showed investigators had images of them.

Dalton police charged Norris with 11 counts of financial transaction card fraud and one count of theft of lost or mislaid property. They charged Jones with 12 counts of financial transaction card fraud and one count of theft of lost or mislaid property.
