CLANTON, Ala. - Sheriff's officials in central Alabama say a 69-year-old woman was found dead in her backyard and a teenage relative has been arrested in connection with her death.
Chilton County Sheriff Kevin Davis told WBMA-TV that Anna Fells was found fatally stabbed Monday morning and a 15-year-old relative has been taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
It's unclear how the two are related and details on what led up to the shooting were not immediately available.
