3 teens arrested in fatal Gwinnett County shooting

GRAYSON, Ga. - Police in Gwinnett County say three teens have been arrested in the death of a teenage boy who was killed over his high-end shoe collection.

WSB-TV reports two 15-year-old boys and 18-year-old Romaine Stewart have been charged in the death of 14-year-old Paul Sampleton.

Sampleton was fatally shot at his house in Grayson - about 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta - on Dec. 19. Police found the teen bound and gagged and say several expensive pairs of shoes - including the ones he was wearing that day - were stolen.

Although the three are being charged as adults, the Associated Press does not typically identify juvenile crime suspects.

It is unclear if the teens have lawyers and authorities are investigating additional suspects.
