Cleveland, Bradley Central girls' basketball teams tied 28 at half

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - At halftime of the District 5-AAA championship game, the Cleveland and Bradley Central girls' basketball teams are tied at 28.

The Bearettes - ranked third in Class AAA - jumped out to a 10-3 edge, but the Lady Raiders clawed back, briefly taking a 26-25 advantage on a layup by Sydnie Anderson in the second quarter.

Brooke Copeland leads the Bearettes with 11 points. Cleveland, who has hit four 3s, has been led by Anderson's 11.
