TVA's Kimberly S. Greene is leaving her job as executive vice president and chief generation officer to become president and CEO of Southern Company Services, effective April 1.
She had come to TVA in 2007 from the Southern Co., where she had been its senior vice president of finance and treasurer.
"I and all of Kim's coworkers at TVA will miss her leadership and expertise, as well as our personal interactions with her," TVA President and CEO William D. Johnson said. "We are proud of her accomplishments at TVA and in the broader utility industry, and know she will continue to be successful in her new position at Southern Company."
A search for a successor will begin right away, a news release said.
