NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Fresh cut fruit and vegetable processor Taylor Farms is expanding its plant in Smyrna, adding 170 jobs.

Gov. Bill Haslam announced the expansion tosday, noting the project will cost $5.9 million. Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty said the state's central location and skilled workforce, along with a business-friendly environment make Tennessee a solid choice for industries to expand within the state.
