Crime Stoppers seeks Chirika Andriea Alexander on many charges

Crime Stoppers is seeking a Chattanooga woman wanted on multiple charges.

Police said Chirika Andriea Alexander is wanted for theft over $500, probation violation, forgery and passing worthless checks. Other charges include failure to appear on an aggravated child abuse and child neglect charge, leaving the scene of an accident with damage, violation of the insurance law and driving without a valid license.

Police said Alexander is accused, among other things, of using another person's EBT card to get groceries in March 2012 and of beating a child so badly it needed staples to close its injuries. Alexander, 29, is on Hamilton County's top 12 most wanted list.

Alexander is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. Her last known address is 7631 Austin Drive in Chattanooga.
