Police says two men were driving their white SUV on Booker Street near 28th Avenue North in Nashville when they were shot. Police said the two men were parked in a silver Ford Explorer on Booker Street near Lena Street when they were shot. The pair quickly drove away, and ran through stop sign at 28th Avenue. They hit another car, flipping their SUV on its side.
When police arrived, one man was dead in the SUV. The other, who was shot in the leg, ran from the SUV but collapsed nearby. He is at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition, according to police spokeswoman Kris Mumford.
