A jury has been selected in the criminally negligent homicide trial of the parents of a 2-year-old girl shot accidentally in 2010.

Eight women and five men were chosen.

Samantha Wallace, 28, and Thomas Wallace, 25, face the homicide charge in the death of their daughter Camron Wallace.

The girl died when her 5-year-old stepbrother found a loaded .45-caliber pistol that Thomas Wallace kept in his nightstand. The boy shot the girl in the chest, and she died shortly afterward.
