Chattanooga firefighters today extinguished a fire at the Nu Foam Products plant at 1101 Wisdom St.
The fire broke out in the "looper area" where foam chunks are cut into blocks, a news release said.
Seven fire companies responded to a 911 call reporting the fire, and crews quickly moved to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
