The U.S. Marshals Service today increased the reward for information leading to the arrest or capture of a Manchester, Tenn., man wanted in the killing of a Cowan man whose body was found in a cornfield in March.
The total reward for David Gordon Jenkins, 46, now stands at $5,000, according to a news release. Jenkins was put on the state's most wanted list on April 10, 2013.
He is wanted by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on one count of first-degree murder and one count of felony murder in the beating death of 26-year-old Corey Nathaniel Matthews. Investigators believe Matthews was targeted by four men because of his affiliation with the Aryan Nation. Three are in custody and charged with murder.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of David Gordon Jenkins is urged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463).
