CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - Filming of "Need for Speed" temporarily shut down both directions of Interstate 75 northwest of Atlanta.

Northbound and southbound lanes were closed Wednesday between exits 277 and 288 in Bartow County, WXIA-TV reported. The southbound lanes were closed off and on for more than four hours.

Filming was expected to move to a different location after Wednesday.

Video from WXIA shows crews filming a 2014 Mustang equipped with several cameras driving down the closed interstate.

Earlier this month, filming of the same movie closed a bridge linking Georgia and Alabama for several days as crews shot a scene of a car being driven into the Chattahoochee River. The bridge links the Georgia city of Columbus to the Alabama community of Phenix City.

"Need for Speed" has filmed scenes in other Georgia cities, including Macon and Rome.
