TALLADEGA, Ala. - Authorities say two teens have been charged with capital murder in the death of a 19-year-old who went missing in Shelby County earlier this year.
The Talladega County Sheriff's Office said Friday that 19-year-old Justin Hamilton of Chelsea and 18-year-old Demarcus Samuels of Sylacauga have been charged in the death of Cameron McGlothan.
Authorities say McGlothan was reported missing from his home by family members on March 7, and his body was found a few days later along a road in Sycamore.
Various news outlets reported that Hamilton and Samuels were being held without bond in the Talladega County Jail after an initial court appearance Friday morning. It was not immediately known whether either man has hired an attorney.
