Baby, 2 adults injured in Georgia crash

WOODSTOCK, Ga. - Police say a baby and two adults have been hospitalized in a rollover crash on the northbound lanes of I-575 in Woodstock.

Cherokee Fire Department spokesman Tim Cavender says the driver of a black, Ford pickup truck involved in the accident had to be pulled from the wreckage Thursday and is listed in critical condition at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

A woman who was riding as a passenger was found sitting under a bridge holding her baby after the crash. Authorities say the baby was conscious and alert and had been taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite to be evaluated. Officials say the woman suffered cuts but was in stable condition after the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
