Oddello Industries LLC expand operations at its Morristown, Tenn., facility and add 228 jobs, officials said today.
The company, that makes furniture components, will invest $4 million in the Hamblen County plant.
"With rising overseas costs of production, shipping and wage rates, Morristown is a logical fit for Oddello's continued growth," said Oddello Industries Chief Operating Officer Tom Roberts in a statement.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam said that companies such as Oddello are "helping us toward our goal of becoming the No. 1 state in the Southeast for high quality jobs."
Morristown Mayor Danny Thomas said Oddello has grown from 35 employees to 415 in the past year.
