The Hamilton County chapter of the Roughnecks Motorcycle Club will hold a 100-mile ride on March 16 in memory of the late Walker County firefighter, Jarrett Little, who died in Rossville on Dec. 31, 2008, when the fire truck he was driving crashed and overturned, with him being trapped inside.

The riders will leave the Rossville City Park at 1 p.m. and will travel through the North Georgia mountains before ending their ride at the Southside Saloon & Bistro in Chattanooga.

Registration for the event will take place at 11 a.m. at the park with the fee being $15 per bike. Proceeds will go to the Georgia Fallen Firefighters Foundation, a news release said.

The motorcycle club is made up of active and retired members of law enforcement and public safety.
