Jen Prpich has been appointed general manager of the Sheraton Read House Hotel in downtown Chattanooga.

Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based hotel management and ownership firm, took over management of the 241-room hotel in February and announced today that Prpich will head the Broad Street complex, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Ms. Prpich brings over a decade of hotel management experience to her new position. Prior to joining HVMG, she most recently served as general manager of both the 315-room Winston-Salem Marriott and 146-suite Embassy Suites Winston-Salem in Winston-Salem, NC.

Built in 1927, the landmark Sheraton Read House Hotel Chattanooga includes 19,000 square feet of meeting space, a new state-of-the-art exercise facility, a new indoor swimming pool, 24-hour valet parking, Porter's Steakhouse and a Starbucks coffee house.
