Chattanooga named tops for under 30 CEOs

UTC, Chattanooga State and EPB were cited as reasons for listing Chattanooga as the top site for young entrepreneurs living in smaller cities, according to the Under30CEO website.

"The fiber optic network has been emulated by at least six other cities in Tennessee and studied by other cities in the U.S. and even internationally. This type of technology has made Chattanooga a player in attracting tech talent to the city," the website said.

Columbia, Mo., Charleston, S.C., Madison, Wis., and Columbia, S.C., rounded out the top five in the smaller cities list.

Austin, Texas, topped the list for large cities, while Nashville was No. 5.
