Several hundred Hixson residents are without power tonight.
EPB Public Relations Coordinator John Pless said he was "unsure of the cause" but that crews had been dispatched to restore service to those affected as soon as possible.
"Troubleshooters have been out there for a while trying to isolate the problem," Pless said.
