TVA logoTVA has recognized four of its local employees by presenting them with a Salute to Excellence Award, its highest internal honor.
The award takes note of outstanding employee performance and innovative leadership.
Murray Gunter, Mick Mastilovic, Louise Butts and Clay Deloach were the local honorees.
A news release said this was the eighth year for the awards with employees being nominated by their peers and managers. More than 1,000 entries were received this year.
"As we begin our ninth decade of service to the people, each of our winners has demonstrated a passion for the mission Congress gave us," TVA President and CEO Bill Johnson said. "They take tremendous pride in what TVA stands for and are committed to excellence in everything they do as well as raising the bar of excellence just a little higher, each and every day."
