RIVERDALE, Ga. - Authorities say two people were shot and a third person was severely beaten outside a sports bar south of Atlanta.
Police say the gunfire and assault happened around 2:30 a.m. today at The 50 Yard Line. The spots bar is on Old National Highway, about 18 miles south of downtown Atlanta in the Riverdale area of south Fulton County.
Fulton County police tell WXIA-TV that one man suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound to the stomach. A woman was shot in the leg.
The two gunshot victims and the man who was beaten were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police have not disclosed a possible motive for the violence.
