Five members of a North Georgia family will appear on "Family Feud" Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. on WDSI-TV 61.
Josh Keefe and his wife, Amber; twin brother, Michael; and sisters Emily Slatton and Elisabeth Denton auditioned for the show in Atlanta in June. The idea to try out was Amber's, and she was the one who made the original application.
"We went to Atlanta in the spring to audition along with thousands of other families across the country and hoped for the best. Miraculously, we received the exciting news that we had been chosen," she wrote of the experience. "We were thrilled, but our battle wasn't over. We were to have a rehearsal that would serve as our final audition. To make a long story short, we did good, but were not able to film that day. We were told by the directors to come back at a later date. We returned about a month later on July 17 for a second try, and this time we made it on. It was a huge blessing and a lot of fun, but we are not allowed to talk about the results at this time."
Local wrestling fans may recognize the brothers. They were both state champions at Ringgold High School in 2002 and both went on to be All-Americans at UTC. They now coach at Dalton High School.
