Motorcycle enthusiasts on Saturday held their Hamilton County Toy Run to collect toys for Partnership children.

Motorcycle rides were offered for free to collect holiday toys for children affected by domestic violence and homelessness, a news release said. The rides began at 11 a.m. at Sportsman's Warehouse and concluded at Charlie's Restaurant and Lounge in Soddy-Daisy.

Non-riders also brought donations of unwrapped toys to Charlie's.

The toys collected from Saturday will serve as presents to dozens of children in Partnership's Family Violence Shelter.

Event Organizer, Joe Guffey said that "at the end of the day, this event is really about the kids. We don't want any child to be without a toy this holiday."
