TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Tuscaloosa police say gunfire that occurred at a gas station following the LSU-Alabama game began with taunting between men.

The Tuscaloosa News reports that two men taunted an Alabama fan early Sunday at a gas station hours after Alabama beat LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Authorities say one person pulled a gun, and the 30-year-old victim retrieved a gun from his vehicle.

Gunshots followed, and the Alabama fan was shot in the leg. The man was treated at a hospital, but the injury wasn't life-threatening.

Sgt. Dale Phillips of the Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit says he doesn't know if the suspects are LSU fans.
