Former Knox County Criminal Court Judge Richard Baumgartner has been freed from a federal work camp, his attorney confirmed this week.
Baumgartner returned to Knox County on Friday after serving most of the six-month sentence he received for lying to cover up for a pill-supplying paramour in the Gilmer work camp in Glenville, W.Va.
"He's on home detention for two weeks to finish out the remaining six-month sentence," attorney Donald A. Bosch said Tuesday.
