Police search the Fontaine Woods apartment complex, and near by woods, for two suspects.
According to Public Information Officer Janice Atkinson the suspects are potentially armed.
Around 9 a.m. two white males were attempting a burglary on Signal Mountain, near Laurel Breeze Drive, and retreated down the Mountain.
The suspects are believed to have dropped weapons from the vehicle during the ensuing police pursuit.
