A LaFollette Middle School janitor was fired Tuesday after his arrest on allegations he used a school copy machine to run off counterfeit currency.
James Terry Chapman, 44, of LaFollette was arrested Tuesday by Campbell County Sheriff's Office Detective John Long and charged with criminal simulation, according to records. Chapman was released from jail after posting a $5,000 bond.
Chapman had been employed as a janitor for four years, according to Campbell County Director of Schools Donnie Poston. Poston said Chapman was fired after admitting his actions.
