Georgia school locked down following dog attack

ATLANTA - Atlanta police say a local high school has been locked down after a student was attacked by dogs on the football field.

Department spokeswoman Kim Jones says several pit bulls mauled at least one student at Carver High School this afternoon.

Authorities say the victim was taken to a local hospital. It's unclear who the dogs belonged to or how they got onto the football field.
