ATLANTA - Police say they believe an argument between two women led one to fatally shoot the other in southeast Atlanta.
Media reports say the shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. on a sidewalk near a restaurant in the area.
Police say the victim died at the scene after she was shot multiple times. Police did not immediately release her name.
Police say they don't believe the shooting was random. They believe the victim and shooter knew each other. The suspect fled after the shooting.
Police were interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.
