Physics class students at Boyd-Buchanan School took part in the annual "Trebuchet Day" tradition Tuesday. The students are required to build either a catapult or trebuchet that is capable of launching a softball. While the previous record of 103 yards still stands, this year's students were able to launch a softball about 70 yards.
