North Alabama jury convicts man of killing 2 at fast-food restaurant

DECATUR, Ala. - A jury in north Alabama has convicted a man of capital murder in the killing of two people at a fast-food restaurant in Decatur.

Jurors convicted 23-year-old Jordaan Creque during their second day of deliberations today.

The panel now must decide whether to recommend a sentence of death or life without parole. The final decision is up to a judge.

Creque was charged in the killings of 49-year-old Jeffrey Mark Graff and 23-year-old Jessie Jose Aguilar at a Krystal restaurant. The two employees were shot to death during a holdup on Aug. 24, 2011.
