Knoxville police make arrest in fatal shooting

KNOXVILLE - Knoxville police have charged a man they believe shot and killed a north Knoxville man on the front porch of his home.

Police told WVLT-TV in Knoxville that Larry Joe Turner II was found dead Wednesday night after being hit by several bullets.

Police arrested 47-year-old James Hudgins of Knoxville on Thursday. He is charged with first degree murder.

Investigators say the incident stemmed from a domestic altercation.

Turner's body has been taken for autopsy to determine how many times he shot.
