ALCOA, TN - A shooting occurred during a jewelry store robbery in Alcoa Wednesday afternoon, according to Blount County Dispatch.
Officials say it happened around 4:30 p.m. at the Malone's Jewelers at 332 Gill Street in Alcoa.
The Alcoa Police Department says two suspects went inside the the store. While one suspect was asking about merchandise, the other jumped the store's counter and ran to a back room.
