The Catoosa County Commission voted this morning to issue $35 million in bond anticipation notes immediately to help refinance Hutcheson Medical Center's debt.

The bailout, which was requested by a group of doctors and the hospital's board, would keep the Fort Oglethorpe hospital afloat while it finds a new partner.

But the $35 million bailout still needs approval from Walker or Dade County to proceed, Catoosa County officials said.
