Police search for teen missing since Sept. 6

LEWSIBURG, Tenn. - Police in central Tennessee are searching for a teenager last seen Sept. 6 at her mother's home in Lewisburg.

The Columbia Daily Herald reported that 15-year-old Jessica Marie Parham was last seen wearing glasses, a blue fleece pajama pant or skirt and white Tinker Bell shirt. She left the house on foot.

Police describe the disappearance as a priority case, but few details have been made available.

Police say that Parham may have been seen in the company of a Hispanic male in the area of the Nashville Zoo and traveling in a late model silver or gray sedan with a rear spoiler.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children have joined Lewisburg police in the search.
