Two women have been arrested on prostitution charges after a bust Friday night, according to a news release.
The location was 1450 N. Mack Smith Road, a commercial building off Ringgold Road near Interstate 75.
Son An Chin, 50, was charged with prostitution and impersonation of a licensed professional, according to the release by East Ridge Police Cpl. Robert Wade. Sun Duty, 64, was charged with promoting prostitution.
Wade said the bust was a joint effort with Department of Homeland Security immigration officials and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
He said evidence taken from the scene included "evidence in support of the listed charges," plus more than $4,100 in cash. The release did not explain what kind of licensed professional was being impersonated.
The women are scheduled to appear in East Ridge Court on Nov. 5.
