An contracted technician hired by EPB was shocked Tuesday afternoon at College Hill Courts.
At about 3:30 p.m., a group of technicians from the Elliot electric company was maintaining a light pole along Grove Street when one of the contractors was shocked, said John Pless, EPB public relations coordinator.
The technician was conscious when he was taken to a local hospital, and was expected to make a "quick" recovery Tuesday evening.
The exact cause of the accident is unknown, but remains under investigation as of Tuesday night.
