Hamilton County Sheriff's Office recognizes key officers

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office recently honored key officers selected by their associates for doing their jobs in an outstanding way.

Those honored at the department's annual awards program were Deputy Nathan Fountain, Deputy of the Year; Detective Robin Langford, Investigator of the Year; C.P.D. Officer Pam Davis, School Resource Officer of the Year; officer Michael McGowan, Corrections Officer of the Year; officer Clarence Willhoit, Court Officer of the Year; Cpl. Stephen Short, Supervisor of the Year; Carole Miller, Civilian Manager of the Year; Heather Winters, Civilian of the Year; and Paul Hutchings, special recognition.

Capt. Charles Lowery was presented a plaque for 35 years of service with the sheriff's office.
