Chattanooga City Council votes to defer beer on pedicabs ordinance for a week

After an hour-and-a-half of questions and confusion for a request to serve beer on two of the city's pedal-powered pedicabs, officials voted to defer action for one week.

The request made by Pints and Pedals and Chattanooga Brew Choo is to allow their customers to haul a cooler of beer onto the pedicabs during their tours of downtown.

Cities like Nashville and Asheville already allow pedicabs to serve beer onboard.
