A traffic stop by a Sheriff's deputy on County Road 732 in the Ider area of DeKalb County, Ala., on Tuesday night netted two arrests.

During the stop, Deputy Nathaniel Bates ran the drivers licenses of the three males in the vehicle, which revealed that Scotty Cuzzort, a passenger, had a felony warrant for probation violation out of Jackson County. Cuzzort was turned over to Jackson County authorities.

Bates, with consent to search the vehicle, also discovered a syringe, and Dustin Shae Roberts, 27, of Higdon, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Roberts is awaiting bond in the Dekalb County Detention Center.
