University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduating senior Taylor Hall has accepted an invitation to try out for the WNBA's Seattle Storm.
Hall, the Southern Conference Player of the Year in the 2013-2014 season, averaged 15 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.5 steals per game for the Mocs, who won 25 consecutive games and advanced to the NCAA tournament, where they dropped a 59-53 decision to Syracuse.
She becomes the third player to receive a WNBA opportunity. Alex Anderson was selected with the 39th pick of the 2008 draft. That same season, Laura Hall had a tryout with the Connecticut Sun.
