No reports of severe weather or flooding

Dispatchers across Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia in the Chattanooga region say there have been no weather-related problems with the passing of light storms this morning.

Marion County dispatchers said it was raining in Kimball and Jasper and officials elsewhere across the area report light rain in some areas but no flooding problems.

National Weather Service radar shows light rain along Interstate 24 in Coffee and Franklin counties between Chattanooga and Nashville extending south into Madison and Jackson counties in Alabama. Most heavier rains appear to be moving toward Northeast Tennessee and between Cumberland County and the Kentucky state line.

Our news partners at Channel 3 report that a flash flood watch is in effect throughout the area.
